Product Warranty

At Vision Specialists Corp., we stand behind the quality of our products. All new items are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Lens Accuracy Guarantee

We are committed to providing lenses that meet your prescription specifications. If your prescription changes within 60 days of receiving your order, we will remake your lenses at no additional cost, apart from a processing fee.

  • Requests must be made within 60 days of delivery.
  • A new prescription from your eye care provider is required.
  • Each prescription change is eligible for a one-time replacement.
  • A $15 shipping and handling fee applies to each lens remake request.

Lens Warranty

Our lens warranty provides coverage for specific issues:

  • Scratches with Anti-Reflective Coating: Lenses with anti-reflective coating are covered for a one-time remake if they become scratched.
  • Chips and Cracks: Polycarbonate and Trivex lenses are eligible for a one-time remake if they develop chips or cracks.

A $25 shipping and handling fee applies to each lens warranty claim. To initiate a claim, please contact our Customer Service team.

Manufacturer's Warranty

Some products may come with a manufacturer's warranty. These warranties are handled directly by the manufacturer, and their terms may differ from ours. For assistance with manufacturer warranties, please contact the manufacturer directly.

Extended 2-Year Warranty

For an additional $29.95, we offer an extended warranty that extends coverage to two years from the purchase date. This warranty must be purchased at the time of the frame purchase and covers the same defects as the standard warranty.

To file a claim under the extended warranty, follow the same process as the standard warranty. Customers are responsible for shipping costs to our facility and a $10 processing fee, which includes return shipping. Processing time is approximately 2 to 3 weeks.

Lens Warranty

Generic/House Brand Lenses

We provide a one-year warranty on polycarbonate and high-index lenses against scratches and peeling. This warranty does not cover plastic lenses due to their delicate nature.

To claim this warranty, contact us at 1-818-305-4023 or [email protected]. Customers are responsible for shipping costs to our facility and a $10 processing fee, which includes return shipping. Processing time is approximately 2 to 3 weeks.

Crizal Brand Lenses

Crizal lenses come with a complimentary two-year warranty covering scratches and coating defects. The claim process is the same as for other lenses.
